Advocacy
- Active involvement in the Continuing Care Collaborative Committee, and the Continuing Care Strategy Implementation Task Force;
- Liaison with government on behalf of our members
- Issues presenting challenges such as property tax, senior care funding; accommodation and Continuing Care Standards and changes to the Building and Fire Codes;
- Funding for adequate and standardized training for Health Care Aides;
- Strategies for workforce retention; and
- Supportive Living Design Guidelines
